Bushmans Loop

While on tour in the North West province we decided to explore a nearby animal sanctuary. It’s beautiful, lush green natural forest viewed from elevated walkways winding their way through the forest on the Bushmans Loop trail.

Marabou Stork

On Safari from Pretoria, this Marabou Stork was quite comfortable having us taking pictures while brushing itself up a bit. It’s a large bird, almost 1,5m high, about 8 – 9 kg with a wing span of about 3,7 m !
